This young bear has been a regular visitor in my neighborhood and on this occassion I photographed him in a tree just behind my house. In the San Bernardino mountains where I live in southern CA, we had a seven year drought that was devastating on the trees, weakening many to attack from the Bark beetle. The bear is in a healthy oak tree but I added the branches of the dying cedar not only for the golden colour affect to enhance the bears colour but also for the reality of the time here in the mountains. This print measures 12" x 9" and is a Lithographic Print.
